Kerry in Kenya to help fight against Al Shabaab

US Secretary of state John Kerry has today arrived Kenya capital Nairobi to help Kenya government in their fight against Al Shabaab who have been carrying deadly attacks in Kenya soil in the last three years.

The visit of US Secretary comes month after Al Shabaab gunmen stormed Garissa University and killed more than 148 people and injuring dozens others in a siege that lasted more than twelve hours.

Other agenda to be discussed include ,US investment, security and regional stability such as South Sudan.

Kerry is expected to meet opposition and civil society before jetting off the country on Tuesday.

Kerry is visiting the country ahead of US President Barack Obama’s visits in the country who is expected to attend international Business Forum  scheduled to take place in Nairobi.

Kenya and US have been at loggerheads after US issued several travel warning on its citizens visiting Kenya, arguing the country is not safe
