Dahabshiil Group of companies handed offer foodstuffs for 100 families to the regional drought committee of Gabiley on Monday, 28 March 2016.
The committee received the contribution from Dahabshiil Group heads of Dahabshiil Remittance in region, Farhan Osman Abdi, and Mohamoud Abdillahi Ismail of Somtel.
Each family was meant to receive a package comprising 25kg each of rice, flour and sugar and 5kg of vegetable oil.
The Group’s donation followed  a hefty first to the tune of US$80 000 that was released to the national drought relief committee that His Excellency the President of Somaliland named.
