Effective from today, at midnight, daily operations at the AMISOM base camp at Halane, adjacent to Adan Adde Airport and the Gezira complexes, will cease for the coming two weeks. The Base will only be open for skeletal, absolutely indispensable activities necessary to maintain it during the imposed lockdown which will, also, affect international presence in Mogadishu which the camp housed and protected.
