By using this site https://Somtribune.global/somaliwire/ or by otherwise accessing any content found on this Site, including use of any digital application in order to access this Site, you are entering into an agreement with SomTribune Research and agree to the Terms and conditions contained herein and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation, SomTribune’s Privacy Policy) and procedures that may be published from time to time on this Site SomTribune. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of these Terms, then you may not access the Site or use any services.

INFORMATION ON THIS SITE. The content-available on this Site is intended to be a general information resource and is provided solely on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. You are encouraged to confirm the information contained herein. SomTribune does not make any warranty that the Site will be error free or that access thereto will be continuous or uninterrupted.

ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION. By using this Site, you represent and warrant that all registration and other information you submit, if any, is truthful and accurate; you will maintain the accuracy of any information you provide; you will not submit any personal information if you are under 13 years of age; and your use of this Website does not violate any applicable law or regulation.

Account Holders are able to purchase a subscription to SomTribune through their dedicated accounts. By creating an account Users/Subscribers agree to all Terms herein.

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under the account. You must immediately notify SomTribune of any unauthorized uses of your account or any other breaches of security. SomTribune will not be liable for any acts or omissions by you, including any damages of any kind incurred as a result of such acts or omissions.

SomTribune will aim to ensure all new account registrations are vetted as swiftly as possible, but is unable to guarantee that an account will be approved within a specified date and time, and cannot be held responsible for being unable to do so. SomTribune retains the rights to approve and deny accounts according to its own discretion.

 

Password responsibilities 

Passworded access to the Site is for named, Individual use only and login details must not be shared with any other party. SomTribune utilises standard IP (address) tracking technology and reserves the right to terminate access without refund if evidence of misuse is found.

Individuals are responsible for keeping passwords and login information confidential.

This is monitored for the safety and security of subscribers, for the integrity of content and for Somtribune’s’s continued ability to invest in high quality research and analysis.

Single-user subscriptions are strictly designed for the use of one Individual, NOT for the uses of one Individual at a time. Sharing of login information constitutes a breach of SomTribune’s Terms and access to the account may be suspended or deleted without notice.

Whereas login details may not be shared with any other person, a subscription may be transferred to another Individual within the same organisation with written notice.

In the event of a breach in access, Users agree to immediately inform SomTribune e as soon as they are aware of such breach, which may become the result of loss, theft or un-authorised use of any email registration and password by another Individual, known or unknown.

This access must be strictly adhered to, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Change of Contact Details and Address:

Universities, agencies, and organisations are obliged to provide correct and up-to-date information surrounding subscription set-up and/or subscriber’s details; including change in email address or contact number, or user change should a subscriber no long be at the institution from which they subscribed with.

No responsibility is accepted for the use of incorrect information caused by a lack of update by the subscriber/organisation.

TYPES OF SUBSCRIPTION AND PRICING

SomTribune Research offers various types of subscriptions to SomTribune e, accommodating Single User access to content and the choice between monthly or yearly subscriptions.

Additionally, SomTribune offers free subscription to partners having ongoing engagements with SomTribune.

By submitting card details or paypal details, Purchasers commit to payment for the chosen subscription. SomTribune will aim to ensure all orders are processed as swiftly as possible, but are unable to guarantee that a subscription will be activated within a specified date and time, and cannot be held responsible for being unable to do so.

Subscription Pricing

The total subscription price will be made clear to the purchaser via the online payment registration forms. At the time of purchase, the subscriber agrees to pay the rates advised. All purchases are in the form of a monthly or annual payment.

SomTribune will review eligibility for free subscriptions, and if approved, this will be granted at the time of subscription. The subscription cost will never change during its validity but is liable to increase or decrease slightly upon renewal.

PAYMENT AND RENEWAL

General Terms

Paid services, such as access to SomTribune is available on the Site. When utilising a paid service, you agree to pay SomTribune the monthly or annual subscription fees indicated. Payments will be charged on a pre-pay basis on the day you begin utilising the service and will cover the use of that service for a monthly or annual subscription period as indicated. These fees are not refundable.

Automatic Renewal

Unless you notify SomTribune before the end of the applicable subscription period that you want to cancel a service or upgrade, your subscription will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the then-applicable annual or monthly subscription fee (as well as any taxes) using any credit card or other payment mechanism we have on record for you. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time on your “My Account” page. Should you not be able to cancel online, please contact us at dailybulletin@Somtribuneresearch.net.

Payment Details

Purchasers of subscriptions from Somtribune, agree to provide Somtribune with complete and accurate payment information in order to carry out successful transaction.

By submitting payment details via editor@somtribune.com and/or contact@somtribune.com , purchasers guarantee they are fully entitled to purchase a subscription using those payment details and are legally able to do so.

All website transactions are securely encrypted and are made via SomTribune’s chosen payment method such as bank accounts, MasterCard, Visa Card or  merchant, Paypal.

 

PERMITTED USE – TERMINATION & SUSPENSION OF ACCESS

Unreasonable use and abuse of content, including screen saves and the systematic downloading and re-distribution of content without written permission from SomTribune will result in access to the site being blocked or suspended. Under no circumstances does permitted usage include any commercial exploitation of the material.

This term also includes the systematic exploitation of sharing login details dedicated to one individual sole user only.

Suspension of access may also take place when users have sought to avoid paying subscription fees after a considerable amount of access had been provided to a user trustingly. SomTribune has full rights to determine this ‘considerable amount’.

SomTribune reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to its content with or without notice, at any time, with or without cause, with no obligation to issue pro-rata refund fees in light of breaches. If you wish to terminate these Terms or your somaliwire.org account (if you have one), you may simply discontinue using the Site. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.

Content Modification – Lack of citation

Users and visitors of the site and the content therein must correctly cite SomTribune in their works. Content modification or lack of citation of SomTribune content, which may be readily available to the public, is strictly prohibited. Informed business and operational decisions by use of the sites content is acceptable on the strict proviso correct quotation is made. Users are required to cite correct quotations to prevent the content being distorted in any way.

Photocopying & Downloads

Subscribers are permitted to download issues or articles for personal use only, without distribution. Users may not print web pages or save web page content other than individual articles for personal use.

Electronic dissemination of materials and articles via email or social media is strictly prohibited, unless with prior permission from SomTribune to do so. SomTribune has technology to identify breach of user terms. SomTribune holds all rights to investigate any potential breaches should it to be deemed fit and appropriate to investigate so.

Misuse or breach of trust will result in account suspension or deletion. In the case of such termination, SomTribune will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to SomTribune.

Delivery, Removals and Changes to content

SomTribune aims to ensure all new content is published promptly and accepts no responsibility for any delays in publishing content.

SomTribune reserves full rights at any time to withdraw or change any item or part of an item within the site if new information comes to light and change is deemed desirable.

Individuals and Organisation’s are prohibited from using any trade mark names or design logos of SomTribune or SomTribune e and any other trade names associated with this website without the written permission from SomTribune or its Board of Directors.
