Wikileaks says that what we see in the pictures is usually misleading, especially when it comes to pictures. Two pictures, it posted, for instance, expose the stark difference the photos show. In the first, the viewer leaves with the impression that the whole larger world was out there in force to support Charlie Hebdo when, in fact, the reality was that the implied depth of the crowd was only a calculated hoax.
