More leisure and business accommodation for visitors to the capital city of Somaliland, Hargeisa is now available following today’s official opening of summertime Furnished Apartments.
Somaliland’s Minister of Commerce and International Investment Dr. Muse Kasim Omer has on Monday cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of Summertime Apartments, a state-of-the-art overnight and holiday accommodation for couples and families in Hargeisa’s Kodbur district.
Owned and operated by a genius local entrepreneur Mr. Saed Sheikh Omer Yusuf, the founder and owner of summertime chain of restaurants, halls and luxury hotels, the new furnished apartments in Jigjiga Yar village features 30 spacious and fully furnished apartments with one, two or three bedrooms. Select from family sized to luxury queen size apartments each with fully equipped kitchens and all the comforts of home.
In a brief inaugural ceremony held inside the new summertime furnished apartments was attended by Somaliland’s Minister of Commerce and International Investment, businessmen, youth leaders as well as other distinguished guests.
In his opening remarks the owner of Summertime Furnished Apartments Mr. Saed Sheikh Omer highlighted the importance of his new business, where he also explained the reasons behind its inception.
Mr. Saed Sheikh Omer pointed out that the new summertime furnished apartments is the newest addition to the summertime portfolio. Their flagship hall, Summertime Green Plaza for wedding and conference hall opened in December last year.
Saed also stated that the new furnished apartment were intended for tourists and other customers, where it will serve as an extension to already existing summertime chain of restaurants, halls and luxury hotels.
In his speech, the Minister of Commerce and International Investment Dr. Muse Kasim Omer welcomed the opening of the new Summertime Furnished Apartments, where he lauded the owner of Summertime Furnished Apartments for his contribution to the country’s economic development.
“I congratulate Saed Sheikh Omer on this new venture, providing both leisure and business tourists with additional accommodation options in Hargeisa,” Dr. Muse Kasim said.
Dr. Muse Kasim also stated that Mr. Saed Sheikh Omer became a role model for Somaliland youth where he urged young businessmen to follow his footsteps.
Summertime Furnished Apartments offers undercover car parking and close proximity to local attractions. Short term accommodation is also available with affordable rates.
The owner of Summertime Furnished Apartments Mr. Saed Sheikh Omer Yusuf also owns one of the most iconic restaurants in the city, Summertime Restaurant which is popularly known for its different dishes that attract both locals and foreigners.
